Today, Svitlana Onyshchuk, the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, together with the head of the regional council, Oleksandr Sych, presented certificates for scholarships to 10 students of higher education institutions and 10 students of professional pre-higher education institutions. In particular, students of Precarpathian National University received certificates.
These students are winners of international and Ukrainian Olympiads, competitions, and tournaments. The total amount of scholarships is 33,000 hryvnias.
Among those who received scholarships is Nelia Nahorniak, a student of Ivano-Frankivsk Professional College of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University: ‘For me, this is like a reward for my hard work. I did it for myself, for personal development, as I aspire to become a philologist in the future. But the scholarship is a small incentive to continue working.’
