The Department operates a Phono Laboratory, where students apply their theoretical knowledge in practice and train their interpreting skills. The audio training mode helps students to enhance their speaking skills, enlarge their vocabulary and obtain the experience of situational speaking. It provides practice of simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for students and in turn helps the teacher to control the speed of students’ reaction and fairly assess their language achievements and acquired skills.
Practical lessons are conducted both in groups and individually. The laboratory is also a place for various language workshops.
